Firstly and most of all we would like to give thanks to Micky Sharpz

who gave both myself (Steve Hartnoll) and Ricky Pearson a start in the tattooing business.

We both served our apprenticeship with Micky (myself from around 1990 ~ 1993

and Ricky from around 1993 ~ 1996). Micky was and still is a brilliant teacher.

Unfortunately Micky has had to put his tattooing on hold for the time being due to his

ever growing tattoo supply business (Micky supplies some of the best tattooing materials to

some of the worlds best tattoo artists) but he does talk about a come back into the

tattooing side of the business so watch this space!

Next I would like to thank Paul Booth who has helped me a great deal over the last

three or four years. He has done some fantastic tattooing on both of my legs and has

been a great influence on my tattooing and showing me how to achieve some of the

techniques that he does so well. Anyone with an interest in tattooing should,
